INDIE MOON was established in 2017 by Frédéric Bourreau and Elise Drilhon, two lyrical singers from Paris, both huge fans of eighties electronic music.
They produce melodic modern synthpop, punchy, with great care to arrangements.
It all started in 2017 with their cover of the song
"Hiding memories from the sun" by Solar Fake
which granted them the friendly support of its composer Sven Friedrich, as well as the synthpop press and public.
They reinforced their sonor identity , true to the analogue virtues of the 80's
Following these releases they started a series of private concerts that allowed them to enrich and develop their musical identity.
The keyboardists Thibault Signovert and Brokys, the ukulelist Marc Valero and the singer Nat join the party live, while Stephane Courcy di Rosa and Jean-Marc Gourdon ,the music video team, project clips to make the experience lively and deeply connected to the different atmospheres concieved by the music pieces.
By the end of 2018 they successfully finalized a Ulule campaign to finance a new album , and gave a concert for the backers at the Lavoir Moderne Parisien January 5th 2019
"Somewhere Somehow" will be out on July 4th 2019.
This is their first full album and the last one dedicated to covers.
This album has been made with various guests and was the occasion to test a whole bunch of new gear, in cluding a vintage Synclavier II.
Simultaneously, Frédéric has created a soundset for the virtual synth Synclavier V called Dreamscape, released by Arturia.
They are now working on an EP with their own compositions.
